PART I: In this demo, we will Build a New Collection for Disposable Vape products, step-by-step.

Go to the Admin Portal > Promotions

Access the 'Collections' section.

Click on 'New Collection'.

Name the Collection. e.g. "Disposable Vapes"

Check 'Apply To All Locations' or select specific location(s).

Click on 'Select Product(s)'

Click on 'Individually Select'.

Example: In this demo, we are selecting Store &gt; "Buddi Demo Store" (a specific store). Suppose the chain has two stores, both ordering the same inventory. While you could select 'Chain' to view inventory across all locations, choosing a single store simplifies the product selection process. Why select Store instead of Chain?<ul><li>Selecting 'Chain' means you would need to checkmark every disposable vape twice (once for each store), which is unnecessary. By selecting a single store, you streamline the product selection process.</li><li>Note: Since the main Collection page already indicates that the Collection will 'Apply to All Locations', selecting Store here does not limit the Collection's availability. The selected products will still show on all locations as long as it's in stock.</li></ul>

Custom Step Color

In the Inventory Type dropdown, select either 'Store' or 'Chain' to filter products by a specific location or across all locations.

To filter products by category, select 'Vape'.

Disposable Vape products typically have keywords such as: "Disposable""All In One" "All-In-One""AIO""Single-Use" "Single Use"

From here, you will enter keywords into the Name search field, one-by-one. Let's start with "disposable" (type it in and press 'Enter').

This will bring up all products containing the word, "disposable". You'll notice that some are 'Not in Stock'. To sort In Stock products to the top, click on the two arrows icon (beside 'Inventory').

This will initially bring 'Not In Stock' products to the top.

Click on the arrow icon beside 'Inventory' again.

Now, all of the In Stock products will be sorted to the top for easy selection.

Check each applicable product ("disposable" and In Stock).

Repeat the same Name search process for the remaining keywords; one-by-one within the same screen.

Type in the next keyword: "all in one". Hit 'Enter'.

All of the In Stock products should automatically be sorted to the top.
Again, check each applicable product ("all in one" and In Stock).

Type in the next keyword: "all-in-one". Hit 'Enter'.

Check all applicable products ("all-in-one" and In Stock).

Type in the next keyword: "AIO". Hit 'Enter'.

Check all applicable products.

Type in the next keyword: "single-use". Hit 'Enter'.

Type "single use". Hit 'Enter'.

No products contain the keywords "single use". We have finished selecting products!

 Hit 'Save'.

This closes the 'Select Product(s)' pop-up.
Optional: Click on 'Check Products which Meet the Selected Criteria' if you want to see which In Stock products are currently in the Collection.

Select the store in the dropdown.

This will show all 'Products in Collection'.
Click on 'Cancel' when you are done viewing.

Optional: Click on 'Apply a tile image' if you want to use an image for users to click on to see the Collection.

Optional: You can choose to 'Apply a tile image' for the Collection. This adds visibility to the Collection since users can click on the image tile at the top of the menu to view the Collection.

If you are not using this feature, skip to step 34.We are NOT using the tile image feature in this demo.

Optional:  Toggle on if you want to use this feature.

After toggling on, you would need to upload the image.

Optional: Toggle on if you want to use this feature.We are using the filter button feature in this demo.

Optional: You can choose to add a filter button for the Collection. This adds visibility to the Collection without needing to create/upload an image.

Collection links are generated automatically.
Optional: To further add visibility, you can use the link in other areas. e.g. website, newsletter, etc.

In this demo, we will NOT be using the 'Use Time Frame' feature, so we are leaving it toggled off.

Optional: You can choose to set a time frame for when the Collection will be active on your menu.

To use this feature, toggle it on > Set the start and end times > Toggle on applicable days.

We have finished building the Collection!

Hit 'Save'.

The new Collection is now displayed with the existing Collections at the bottom.

Optional: To add visibility to your Collection, you can move the Disposable Vapes collection higher on the list.

Click and drag the ' || ' icon to move the Collection.

In this demo, we are moving the Collection to the top of the list.

Once the Collection is at the desired spot on the list, let go of your left click.

That's it! The new Collection has been set up.

Let's check out how the Disposable Vapes Collection looks on the menu.
Go to your menu > if your filters sidebar is not visible, click on 'Filters'.

Great! The filter button for Disposable Vapes is shown in the filters sidebar.
Click on it.

The filter has been activated. Users can browse and add Collection products to cart.

This guide explains how to create a Collection in Buddi using the 'Individually Select' function.On the other hand, Collections built with 'Select Using Logic' do not require individual product selection since the process is automated based on pre-defined parameters.
