Searching the catalogue

You can search the catalogue from the Home dashboard or from the Cataloging menu

Click on Search the catalog

If you start your search on the Koha dashboard make sure to click the 'Search the catalog' tab link first.

Click on Search the catalog

Enter in a book title or keywords and press Submit

If you want to find a specific book enter in the books full title

If you want to see what books there are on a particular topic enter in some keywords.

Enter in a book title or keywords and press Submit

Results display

The results display will show all the indexed copies and editions of that title or related to the keywords you entered. You will see holdings for the whole consortium.

Refining your search: Locations column

Use this column to quickly see the location and availability of the title.

Further refining your search: Refine your search

Use the filters under refine your search to limit results. You may want to limit results by 'Holding libraries' to only show results for a particular library, useful if you just want to see what is held at your library.

Checking local holdings details

To see more details about a title click the book's title.

The bibliographic record

At the bibliographic level you can see local holding (if applicable), Other holdings, availability and shelf locations.
