Adding QR Payment URLs to DM Layout Designer

1. 1. Open Systems Administration

   

2. 2. Click Utilities

   

3. 3. Click to Open Layouts Maintenance

   

4. 4. Open layout file

   TIP: Save a copy of this layout with a new file name using 'SAVE AS' in to prevent unintended changes on original

   

5. 5. Select layout for editing

   

6. 6. Click insert Barcode feature

   

7. 7. Drag to create Barcode feature in desired location on layout

   

8. 8. Click 'Gear Icon' to open Barcode Settings

   

9. 9. Select 'QR Code'

   

10. 10. Check 'Auto Module' to resize to fit your layout

    

11. 11. Un-Check 'Show Text' for QR only

    

12. 12. Click 'Function Icon' to open input settings

    

13. 13. Click 'Text' function

    

14. 14. Insert URL for QR

    TIP : URL must be ALL capital letters such as example below

    The following is the standard Click-To-Pay and Legacy DM Pay url

15. 15. Click Okay to Save

    

16. 16. IMPORTANT: Click 'Save As'

    

17. 17. Type new layout name

    

18. 18. Type new layout description

    

19. 19. Click Ok to SAVE

    

20. 20. Click Preview to view sample

    Note: Sample layout and QR URL will not be dynamic or show active customers

    

21. 21. Inspect preview,

    

22. 22. SAVE if satisfactory

    

23. 23. IF unsatisfied - Click Designer to return to layout designer

    

24. 24. Add a 'Label' if additional text is required

    

25. 25. Add label

    

26. 26. Type in 'Text' field

    

27. 27. Preview and Save as needed.
