Microsoft MFA/2FA Enrollment

Note your username may be different from your email address.

First, you will need to get the Microsoft Authenticator App. TheMicrosoft Authenticator App be installed on your Android or iOS smartphone. The Microsoft Authenticator App will allow for additional security and quicker sign in for your Microsoft products (SharePoint, Outlook, Word)

If this is your first time opening the app, you will be asked to add your first account.

This password generally may not be used, feel free to enter any name for this password.

Some apps may not be MFA friendly, in such a case, this password would be used. One example would be the Outlook App on your computer. Generally, this may not need to be used however, this App password step is required when initially setting up MFA. 

This is helpful if you are on a device you frequently use.
