Uploading Individual Letters

The steps below will show you how to upload the individual letters that faculty members in your department email to you.

Click on the candidate's name

Make sure you are on the Case Materials tab

Click on Add File next to Department Individual Votes and Letters

To find it, scroll down a bit, to the Internal Sections section.

Select a file from upload menu

You can multi-select to include multiple files at once.

Change the visibility of each letter

Important: By default, uploaded documents are visible to anyone in the "committee" (i.e., the department members who are participating in the review). Since department members should not have access to each other's letters, you'll need to restrict the visibility of the letters.

Click on Edit next to the letter you want to change the visibility of

Unfortunately, you have to change the visibility one letter at a time. This is admittedly annoying. We have proposed to Interfolio that they allow this setting to be changed for multiple documents at once. Hopefully they will make this change in the future.
