In this tutorial, we will learn how to include images and product attributes as part of the batch upload process for products.

Navigate to Upload Folders
First, we need to create a folder location to upload product imagery

Click on Add New Upload Location

Enter a name and description

Enter the folder name ProductImage

Check the folder as Active

Click on Insert

Click on Manage

The image name as seen here is what will be input into the batch import Excel sheet
This includes the file extension, so for this file we would use "Banner.png"

Navigate to Product Attributes
Next, we will create some product attributes and associated values.
Other tutorials are available discussing the creation of attributes in further detail.

Click on Add new

Type "SampleAttribute"

Click on Save

Navigate to Product Attribute Values

Expand the attribute

Click on Add
Add one or more attribute values

Navigate to Product Management

Click on Import from Excel

Download and modify your product Excel file
Add two new columns to the end of the sheet named ProductImage and ProductAttributes.
Within ProductImage, enter the image name you would like to use as it appears in the Upload location.
Within ProductAttributes, enter the name of the attribute(s) you would like to use.

Select the file from the upload menu

Select the corresponding upload location

Check Allow any value for specification attribute

Click on Import from Excel

Click on SampleAttribute
