Importing Images and Product Attributes via the Product Import Tool | BG_051
In this tutorial, we will learn how to include images and product attributes as part of the batch upload process for products.
1. Navigate to Upload Folders
First, we need to create a folder location to upload product imagery
2. Click on Add New Upload Location
3. Enter a name and description
4. Enter the folder name ProductImage
5. Check the folder as Active
6. Click on Insert
7. Click on Manage
8. Click on Upload and select a file (or files) to upload
9. Click close
10. The image name as seen here is what will be input into the batch import Excel sheet
This includes the file extension, so for this file we would use "Banner.png"
11. Navigate to Product Attributes
Next, we will create some product attributes and associated values.

12. Click on Add new
13. Type "SampleAttribute"
14. Click on Save
15. Navigate to Product Attribute Values
16. Expand the attribute
17. Click on Add
Add one or more attribute values
18. Navigate to Product Management
19. Click on Import from Excel
20. Download and modify your product Excel file
Add two new columns to the end of the sheet named ProductImage and ProductAttributes.
Within ProductImage, enter the image name you would like to use as it appears in the Upload location.
Within ProductAttributes, enter the name of the attribute(s) you would like to use.
21. Select the file from the upload menu
22. Select the corresponding upload location
23. Check Allow any value for specification attribute
24. Click on Import from Excel
25. Products will be updated or created with the image and attribute data included
26. Click on SampleAttribute
