In this tutorial, we will create our first basic product.
We will apply some basic details such as descriptions and images, whilst referring back to our storefront to see how these changes take effect.
1. Click on Catalogue

2. Click on Products

3. Click on Product Management

4. Product Management
The product management screen lists all of the products currently added to your storefront.

5. To add a new product, click on Add new

6. Type "My First Product"

7. Click on Save and Continue Edit
Saving the product at this early stage means we can view how it looks within the storefront.

8. Click on View product page

This is how our newly created product looks on our storefront

10. Published settings
Published means this product is active within your storefront.
Shown in Search Results ensures that users can search your storefront for this product using inbuilt site search tools.

11. Check Show on home page
This option adds your product as a featured product on the home page.

12. Click on Save and Continue Edit

13. Click on Public store
View the public store to see how the featured product looks on the home page.
14. My First Featured Product
This is how the product will appear on your home page if selected as a featured product.

15. Select between the use of the Rich Editor or Code Mirror Editor
The Rich Editor allows content to be formatted as it would in a word processor.
The Code Mirror Editor allows the Infigo user to write custom code to control how this content appears.

16. Type in all product description boxes so that you can identify them later.

17. Click on Save and Continue Edit

18. Refresh the storefront product page
The descriptions you have input will now be displayed on your product.

19. Refresh the home page
The descriptions you have input will now be displayed on your featured product.

20. Back in the product editor, click on Product tags
Product tags are keywords that this product can also be identified by.
Enter a comma separated list of the tags to be associated with this product.
Tags can be used in product searches and as a means of grouping products.

21. Type "stock,product,demo"

22. Product Tags
Your product tags are now applied.

23. Enter text into the Admin Comment
The Admin Comment input is not shown on the storefront and is only seen by users with product editing permissions.
Use this box to keep notes, reminders or updates on a particular product.

24. Click on Save and Continue Edit

25. Refresh the product on your storefront
Product tags will now be displayed.

26. To add images of your product, click on Pictures in the product editor

27. Select a file from file upload menu

28. Display order
If part of a list of products, the Display order controls where this item appears in this list.
1 or 0 will put an item at the start of the list. Higher numbers give the product a lower priority.

29. Click on Add product picture

30. Uploaded product picture
Your selected picture will now be uploaded and associated with the product.

31. Click on Save and Continue Edit

32. Refresh the product on your storefront to view the uploaded image
