ServiceBell: Create a Proposal Visitor Segment

Create a ServiceBell visitor segment for prospects actively viewing your proposal or quote pages.

WARNING: Before starting — make sure the ServiceBell widget has been added to your proposal/quote pages.

8 Steps

For most tools, it's as simple as embedding a custom code snippet into the proposal page or template. Just like you would when normally installing the ServiceBell widget.

Click on the "Automations" tab on the left sidebar.

Click "Segments"

Create a new visitor segment

Just click on the "+" icon to the right of "Segments"

Name the segment something like: "Proposal Viewers" — and then click "Create"

Click the default middle property "Starts With"

Click on "Contains"

This checks if the URL contains a specified value

Type in the base website domain of the proposal tool you're using (in the far-right input)

For this example, I used "dock.us"

If you aren't sure what to type here. Create a test proposal and send it to yourself. Then look for the base domain in the URL of the proposal page you're viewing.

If the base domain is your normal website's domain, you'll have to look for other patterns in the URL to identify proposal links. This could be a sub-domain, a specific page URL, etc.

Type in the base website domain of the proposal tool you're using (in the far-right input)

Click on "Save" to enable your new visitor segment
