Guide to Joining ResearchGate for Monash Health Staff

1. Click on Join for free
2. Select the type of research group you are
3. Choose Institution as Monash Health
Type in Monash Health and choose from drop-down menu
4. Choose Department and Position
Choose your Department and Position from drop-down menus
5. Click on Continue
6. Type in your details
Type in your first name, last name, Country and Monash Health email, and create a strong password
7. Agree to Terms of Service and click Continue
8. Finalising your profile
Confirming authorship: you can either confirm or deny authorship of suggested articles, or Skip the step
9. Click on Continue
10. Choose your answer and click Continue
11. Choose your discipline
Choose up to 3 disciplines (such as Medicine, Biology..)
12. And choose subdisciplines
Choose up to 3 subdisciplines
13. Click on Continue
14. Add Skills
Add your skills from menu or by typing and click Continue
15. Adding profile picture
Upload a profile picture and click Complete Sign-up, or skip this step
16. A link will be sent to your Monash Health email
17. Go to your Monash Health inbox
In your Monash Health inbox click on the Activate Your ResearchGate email and click on Confirm email address
18. You'll be forwarded back to ResearchGate
You can select other researchers to follow and click Continue
19. Adding content
Click 'Add new' to add your research papers, posters, conference papers etc. you wish to share
