Creating a MetaMask Wallet

4 Steps

1. Go to MetaMask Wallet website

2. Click on Download

3. Click on Install MetaMask for Chrome

4. Click to "Add to Chrome"

5. Click to "Add Extension"

6. You will be redirected to the Metamask creation flow -- Click "Get Started"

If that doesn't happen, click on the fox icon on your extensions

7. Click to "Create a Wallet"

8. Read the instructions and click "I agree"

9. Create a password

This password will allow you to access to the Metamask wallet conveniently, make sure you chose a password you can remember

10. Click "Create"

Once you filled the boxes with the password and click that you read the terms of use. Click "Create"

11. Watch the tutorial and click "next"

12. Read the instructions and write down the sentences

13. Put the recovery phrase from previous step in this

15. Your wallet should look like this

You can see it's on the "Ethereum Mainnet" we want to be on Polygon to have MATIC on the top right corner. Click the drop down

16. Click "Add Network"

17. Add the right information and click "Save"

Chain ID: 137
Currency Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL (Optional): https://polygonscan.com

Add the right information and click "Save"

18. Now you are on MATIC. Let's buy some MATIC. Click "Buy"

19. Choose your preferred method. In this tutorial we use "MoonPay"

20. Chose an amount higher than 30€

21. Click on I want to spend and add your preferred amount

23. Click on email and add your email account

Your email is needed to verify the transaction later

25. Check I agree with MoonPay's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

26. Click on Verification code…

27. Fill out your basic information and click Continue once done

29. Verify your identity. Click "Try Again"

If you are not an active user of MoonPay you will need to validate your identity

30. Make sure you have everything ready and click Continue

31. Chose the document you want to use and the country of issuance

32. Scan the QR code and Follow the steps on your phone

You will need to upload the images of your document from your phone and take a selfie. Once the data is sent you will see this screen

33. Add your preferred payment method

34. Confirm or modify your billing address and click Continue

35. Enter your card details and click Continue

36. Follow the steps of your bank validation and complete transaction

37. Once the processing is completed you will receive your MATIC

38. The transaction is completed

You will receive an email confirming the transaction

39. Your MATIC is on your account
