Using Refly.ai for Content Creation

Click Sidebar > New Canvas

Canvas is the core concept of Refly, which is mainly used to organize a group of AI conversations. Compared with the traditional ChatGPT, which is a linear conversation, the biggest advantage of Refly is that it can arbitrarily diverge conversations in multiple threads, and can fork new topics based on any topic for conversation without losing context.

Click "New Document" to create a document node and open the document preview card simultaneously.

Nodes and edges are the core components of the canvas. A node can represent a piece of content to be created, or an extension of a topic-based AI conversation. An edge represents the "edge-connected nodes" (AI conversation context) on which an AI conversation is generated.

The canvas is the core carrier of creation, and the preview card is where you preview the creation and perform core complex operations.

Add the title of this creation: "What is Refly?"

Double-click on a blank area of the canvas to activate the Action Menu Bar

In addition to double-clicking a node, you can also right-click a blank area on the canvas or click the menu bar on the left side of the canvas to create a node or insert a resource.

Click "Ask AI" to create an AI node

Enter a slash: "/" to activate AI skill selection. Currently Refly provides 4 skills.

Click on the "Network Search" skill, we hope to search the entire network to retrieve relevant content and answer questions

Type in the input box: "What is Refly?"

Click on Send

Click on the AI answer card (node) to view the AI answer details

Click "View more and import to canvas" to view the writing material sources searched by AI

Select the first related writing material

Select the second related writing material

Select the thrid related writing material

Select the 4th related writing material

Click "Add to Canvas" to add 4 writing materials to the canvas for research

Click on the added "Writing Material" to open the material preview card and view the material details. The imported material will enter the AI knowledge base by default, and you can use semantic search to answer questions.

Select the content of the writing material by underlining it to ask questions or create a memo

Click "Close" to close the preview card of the material.

Use the mouse to draw a box to select multiple nodes and perform related operations

Click "Ask AI" to ask AI questions based on the multiple "writing materials" selected in the box

In the generated AI question box, enter: "What is Refly's core value?"

Then click "Send", and Refly will add these writing materials to the content of the AI question and answer your question comprehensively.

Switch to the AI document editor and enter the title: "What is Refly's core value?"

Switch to the AI answer node, hover the mouse over the node, click "Insert Document" in the pop-up menu bar, and insert the AI answer into the document editor

Next, create the second paragraph and type in the AI editor: "What is Refly's core audience?"

Double-click on a blank area of the canvas to activate the Action Menu Bar, then, then click Ask AI to create an AI node.

Enter a slash "/" to activate the AI skill

Select the "Knowledge Base Search" skill, and the imported materials will enter the AI knowledge base by default, and semantic search can be used to answer questions

In the input box, enter a question to search the knowledge base skill: "What is Refly's core audience?"

Click "Send" to ask AI a question. Refly will automatically search your AI knowledge base and find relevant materials or documents to answer your question comprehensively.

Then go back to the AI editor, select the blank space in the editor, and start writing a paragraph

Next, we return to the canvas, hover the mouse over the "AI Knowledge Base Search Answer" node, and click "Insert Document" in the menu bar to insert the content into the editor.

Next, we select all the contents of the editor, and in the editor toolbar that pops up, click “Ask AI” to let the document editing AI help us optimize the content.

We enter the polishing requirement: "Polish the two parts"

Then click "Send" and Refly will ask AI questions based on the selected content to get the polished output results.

After getting the AI polish output, we can click Replace Selected to replace the existing content with the AI answer.

Finally, we can click on the Document menu

Click "Copy Content", and the Markdown content of the document will be copied to the clipboard, which can be used for publishing on various creative platforms.
