My-path

12 Steps
1

Log into my-path.online

If you want to engage in two-way texting, be sure to reach out to cschlachte@pathwaylabs.io or support@pathwaylabs.io to ensure that your account is enabled for texting. Until your account is enabled, you will be limited to only using the email portion of the messaging module.

Click on Messaging

Located in the drop down menu on the left side of your screen.

Click on Messaging
3

Click on Send a new message

As you can see from the screenshot, you can also view your previous messages sent from your account.

If you do not have a phone number listed next to your email, you need to request--by reaching out to either of the emails mentioned above--that your account be enabled to send text messages.

Click on Send a new message
4

Once you click "Send a new message" you can toggle between either texting or emailing

Texts are sent using the number listed next to your email. Both your sent messages and responses will show up in the messaging panel.

Emails are sent using your linked account (i.e., the same email you use to log into my-path.online is displayed as the sender for any emails you send from the system). Any responses to emails you send from my-path only show up in your email inbox; they do not show up in the my-path system.

Once you choose the type of message (text or email) that you want to send, you can choose the participants

You can use the search bar to find a name, or to search a for a larger cohort like a program and send a batch message to everyone enrolled in that course. Batch messages are sent individually to each person associated (meaning you won't accidentally create a massive, unwieldy text thread with a hundred participants)!

If you want to continue the conversation in-thread, you can navigate to that person directly from the messaging panel

This panel updates just like a message application on your phone, showing the most recent sent/received messages at the top of the page.
