Uploading a System File

The purpose of this training is to walk through the steps involved in uploading a system file to the MyACATrack system.

Go to ACA Track via the website: login.myACATrack.com

Once there, log in using your login credentials and navigate to the screen below

Click on Data Management section

Click on Data Upload tab

Click on New Data Batch

Special Notes:

  • If you have already uploaded an ACTUAL data batch and have not generated forms, it is best practice to delete the previous batch before uploading a new one.

  • If 1095c forms were already generated and you are processing a revised file for new forms, you will not have an option to delete. Please remember to "Reject" the forms prior to file upload; this acts as your file deletion.

  • If you are processing 1095c revisions for specific employees, reminder to only upload the Employees / Dependents who need a revised form processed.

In the pop-up, please read, confirm, and if ready to move on, click on Yes

Type in the name of the data batch

Note: any alpha-numeric entry is allowed

Choose data source - Employee or Dependent

Note: Dependent data should not be uploaded until all employee data is uploaded & error free

Choose month data is through

Note: If uploading final, actual data, you must choose the month of December

Choose Batch Type

Batch Type options vary based on time of year:

Inspection - test data

Actual - final data

Corrective - data corrections made after 1094 submitted to IRS

Choose Batch Type

Click on Employee Upload Template if you are running Employee data. If you are running Dependent data, you would select the Dependent Upload Template option

Browse your computer to locate/select the file name that is associated with this data batch

Note: a pop up window will appear confiming which tab to use within your data file, please choose the appropriate tab that should be processed

Click on Next for your data batch to run through the system testing process

Once you click 'Next,' you will see this screen to show your data batch was uploaded successfully and your file is processing. You will then receive an email notifying you when the data batch has processed.
