Updating Profile Information: Name, Date of Birth, Gender

Certain features on your profile cannot be updated yourself in an effort to deter account transfers. We can certainly make that change for you by following these steps!

Navigate to 1iota.com and login to your account.

Click on the drop down arrow to the right of your email address.

This is located in the upper right hand corner of your screen.

Click on "MY PROFILE"

Scroll down to Account Settings - and click on Name, Date of Birth, or Gender. and click on "EDIT"

You will notice that each of these has a padlock symbol. This means that they cannot be self-edited. Our support team would be happy to assist you - simply follow the prompts that populate after clicking "Edit"

Select "Choose File"

Please upload a clear image of a government issued photo ID, that clearly states your legal name, date of birth, and gender.

Check the box for which information you would like updated.

This can a combination of name, age, gender, or all three.

Click on "SUBMIT"

Once you have selected the information that you would like us to update, please click the blue "Submit" button.

Click on "Close"

A member of our support team will review and update this information. Please note this may take a few days.

*Remember, we can make a change to your profile only to make sure it matches your ID. We CANNOT change the name on your 1iota account to transfer it to someone else!
