Created Feb 28, 2025Submitting an Individual Paper Proposal for AJS 57th Annual Convention 2025
Log in to the submission portal (All Academic) to get started. https://convention2.allacademic.com/one/ajs/ajs25
Note: only current members will be able to log in. (You may need to join or renew by visiting https://myajs.associationforjewishstudies.org/default.aspx.) Additionally, you will use the same login credentials as you used to renew your membership. Having issues? Contact Melinda Man.

Before submitting an individual paper, you may wish to click on View Single Paper Listing to see if any of the papers listed could be used to create a session. Should you find papers in the listing that complement your scholarship, reach out to the paper submitters and ask if they would like to be part of a panel. If they do, kindly follow the instructions for submitting a session. (Do not submit an individual paper proposal if you wish to organize a panel that includes your paper and papers by other scholars.) Reach out to Mary Arnstein if you have questions.

The Single Paper Listing is a tool session organizers can use to find papers that might work well with their proposals in order to submit a complete panel. If you include your paper in the Single Paper Listing, session organizers will be able to contact you to see if you wish your work to become part of a panel.

(You'll also be able to edit your submission from the page described in step 1.) Note: please don't worry about the text that says "Keywords: No Data Entered." Instead, please check to make sure that the words you selected relative to Time Period, Content, and Approach appear.

You may print out a confirmation of your submission at any time by visiting the "Message Center." You will find this link on your main menu. You should also receive an email from do_no_reply@allacademic.com.
Please consider adding the domain @allacademic.com to your safe list in order to receive reminders, acceptance notifications, scheduling notifications, and requests to volunteer.

If you included your paper in the Single Paper Listing, scholars may reach out to you by email to ask if you would like to be included in a panel they are organizing. If you do wish to collaborate, please provide the Proposal ID number included in your confirmation.
