Setting up Canvas Parent
Canvas Parent is a companion application in which Parents can connect to their Students School Canvas Account. Below are the steps on how to create a parents account and then how to pair it with your students.
Apple
1. Go to Canvas Parent on the App Store
If you have an Android Device you can download here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instructure.parentapp&hl=en_US&gl=US
2. Open App
3. Click on Find School
4. Type "First Academy Parents" and click when found
5. Click on "Create Account" at the bottom
6. Fill out all required information
Your Name: Parent Name
Your Email: Parent Email
Password: Parent Password
Student Pairing Code: Instructions
7. To Add Additional students
Click the 3 horizontal lines at the top left.
Click "Manage Students"
8. Click the "+" on the Right
9. Click Pairing Code at the Bottom
10. Type in Pairing Code and Click Add
