Saving a message with variables

We support a range of variables for messages, this guide will show you how to use them.


The variable needs to have the format of "#VARIABLE_NAME#" in all caps.

The current supported variables are:
#FIRST_NAME# - The recipients first name
#LAST_NAME# - The recipients last name
#MANAGER_NAME# - The recipients managers' name.

#START_DATE# - The first day of work for the recipient.

#EXTERNAL_ID# - The ID attribute from a third party API. Will be blank unless user is created through 3rd party integration (eg. Microsoft Azure)
