1. Warning. Check your screen first
I've recently encountered an issue with a recent shipment of screens, where they've been fitted with incorrect components - specifically, 000 resistors. To identify if you're facing a similar situation, check the placements. The correct placement should be on R5, but if you find it on R6 instead of R8, which is fine, then it needs to be addressed.
Correcting this is straightforward with a soldering iron. Simply apply heat to the solder at R6 to detach the misplaced component, which is currently bridging two solder parts. While you can attempt to resolder it onto R5, a simpler fix is to just apply a small amount of solder to connect the two pads on R5. This should resolve the issue effectively.

3. Screen Pin Out
It's always good practise to use red for VC and Black for GND, this is probably the part that will give you the most bother.
