Roadside Connect: Introductory Training

When you first get your Roadside Connect logins, let's start using just these FOUR tabs:
 

  • Conversations

  • Opportunities

  • Reputation

  • Contact Your Roadside Team

Go to Roadside Connect

Think of Roadside Connect as your Patient Closing Software. This platform will help you keep track and communicate with new patients coming through all your potential sources... like your paid ads, campaigns, website forms, and Facebook and Instagram messages. And it will be where you can track the results of campaigns you run to nurture existing patient relationships (like our paid ads, relationship-nurturing newsletters, reactivation, or treatment acceptance campaigns). Best of all, you will be able to easily see the ROI.

Roadside Connect uses a unique call tracking number that will help us monitor traffic sources. We have added this number to your Google Business Profile (your actual office number is still part of your profile) and will use it if you are running paid ads. By default, call recording is activated. You can choose to use the recordings to verify the quality of a lead or for training your team to close.

When you first log in, it will ask you to send a verification code to the email associated with the account (we can also add a cell number if you prefer). We've set up one user account that your entire team can share, but if you want separate logins for individual team members, we can do that.

Respond to messages

The icons next to the number or name will indicate where the user is contacting you from. All you need to do is add your message and send it.

We need you to try and respond within 5-10 minutes before a lead gets cold. The platform can send automatic responses if you can't respond right away. If you want to turn on that feature, please let your Account Manager know.

Turn on notifications

You can set up desktop notifications for incoming messages if you use Chrome.

By default, we will make sure your team receives email notifications. Text message notifications are also possible. Just speak to your Account Manager.

Click on Opportunities

The Opportunities tab allows you to keep track of leads you've followed up with and see your marketing ROI.

There are different pipelines where leads are coming from. The Website / Organic Leads pipeline (it may also be called "Organic Lead Pipeline") shows the leads that have come in from your website through form fills or organic searches.

Click on the contact name...

You can click on the contact name to find out what pages they visited on your website and how they got here.

Drag contact to a different stage

As you contact leads, move them to the appropriate stage in the pipeline.

Adjust the Opportunity Value

Adjust the Opportunity Value to represent your practice's lifetime patient value or the value of presented/booked treatment. Click Update.

The Existing Patient stage

If this lead is an existing patient or spam, don't delete it! Just move it to the very end of the pipeline to the Existing Patient stage.

Click on Sites then Submissions to find all your form submissions

All your website form submissions are 100% HIPAA compliant in Roadside Connect. You will receive an email notification when someone completes a form and it will create a lead in the Opportunities tab. If you are not receiving form submissions, contact us right away!

Click Reputation

Roadside Connect makes it easy to respond to reviews! Click the Reviews link at the top of the window and then click Reply. Responding is great for local visibility!

Just remember to make your responses HIPAA compliant (for more information read this blog).

You can also send email or text review requests! If you would like this feature added, please contact your Account Manager. We'll provide you with additional training.
