Click on it to start processing it. It usually takes about a minute for the AI to finish processing a document, but it could sometimes take up to 2 minutes.

After Processing
ReviewAI will display some things in the sidebar for you:
Dashboard
Groups
Issues
4
Dashboard
The Dashboard is home to a few things:
Risk Score - A 0-100 Score of how risky this contract is in comparison to the Ideal version of that contract type
Progress Bar
Status of Contract
Duration
5
Risk Indicator
You will get a risk score to help you understand how Risky a contract is when the AI finishes processing.
6
Contract Review Status
You can update the contract status to one of these three statuses, In Progress, Done, and On Hold. This allows Legal Ops or Management to see where contracts are in the Dashboard.
7
Progress Bar and Duration
The Progress bar lets you see how far along you are in your review.
Duration keeps you informed of how long it has been in review since processing.
8
Groups
These are your groups, and they contain all of your issues. You can think of groups as folders to help organize the Issues within. Groups are notated with a 0 of some number to let you know how many Issues are inside of them.
9
Click a Group to expand it
This will all you to see the Issues that are inside.
10
Issues
Issues are your action items to be checked off
11
Parts of an Issue - Title
Title of the issue, letting the reviewer what their action is.
12
Parts of an Issue - In-app Comment
The in-app comment is to help the reviewer understand what the AI has done and why it is displaying this item. In this example, "No mutual language found."
13
Parts of an Issue - Reference
These are references to the contract and are clickable. They will jump you straight to that part of the contract.
14
Parts of an Issue - Risk Indicator
The risk indicator lets you know how risky the issue is being presented. Risk is determined by your organization, not the AI, which gives you a relevant risk score.
15
Issues - Details Page
Every issue has a deeper layer of information called the Details Page. You can get to it by clicking the circle with the arrow.
16
Details Page - Notes and Guidance
Within the details page, you will find an area for typing in Notes, and some Issues could have prefilled Guidance for the reviewer.
17
Details Page - Positions
On the Details Page, you will also find your Positions. This is your organization's standard language for the Issue at hand.
18
You can Click on the Issue to Open It
19
You can also Insert that text into the Document.
Get the cursor where you need to insert the position or highlight the text you want to replace.
20
Then Click the Plus Sign next to the Position you want to insert
21
Inserted/Replaced Text
This will add it to the document where the cursor is or replace any text that you have highlighted
22
Details Page - Related References
References are usually left by the AI. You can click on them and jump to that part of the contract.
23
Jumped to that part of the Contract
24
You can add your own References as well
You can do that if you notice some text that you want to return to or leave as a reference in the issue for someone else. Just Highlight the portion of the text you want, and click the Plus sign next to Related References.
25
It adds that Custom Reference to the list
You now have a jump point that you can use to get back here, or if someone is getting this contract after you, they will be able to quickly jump there.
26
Clause Library
The details page is not the only place to find your Organizations language.
27
Here you find all of your organization's Standard Language
It is listed in alphabetical order, and you have the ability to search as well.

35
Clause Library - Edit a Clause
Click the pencil to edit a clause.
36
Clause Type (Required)
This organizes the clause into its correct type
37
Clause Name
As you saw, we had multiple Liability clauses. Clause name allows you to give it a unique name. Maybe this particular clause is associated with a particular client, so I could name it "Evil Corp Liability."
38
Clause Text (Required)
This is the body of the text, the actual language.
39
Clause Guidance
Just like we can have Guidance/Notes for our issues, we can also provide guidance for the clause. This lets us inform the review on best practices for using certain clauses.
40
Document Type
This just helps to define a clause's use further. You can list the documents you think it could be used for.
41
Keywords
You can think of these as tags to help understand a clause. Maybe this clause is for a particular region, so I could use a tag of "EU" or "AUS" so the reviewer can quickly understand it is a region-specific clause.
42
When you are done Editing or Creating a Clause, click Save
43
Colors - Purple: Definitions and Cross References
The purple text throughout the document is action, a feature we call, Definitions and Cross References.
This interactive text allows you to click on it and will define that in the sidebar.
44
Purple: Defined Term
Renewal Term is defined for us, so we do not have to jump around.
45
Purple: Cross Reference
Clicking on a reference to a clause or section of a document will display the whole section.
46
Purple - Section 4.2 is pulled up for us
So we do not have to leave our place in the document and still get the information we need.
47
Colors - Orange: Alert
48
Orange - Continued
Orange lets you know that something does not match your playbook. In this instance, Onit is not listed as one of the parties for the contract.
49
Colors - Blue: Pre-Check
Blue lets you know that something matches your Playbook. Most of your Pre-Checked items will be found in Done, as the AI tries to remove that from your To-Do.
*You can un-check them to move them back to To-Do
50
Colors - Grey: Further Review
The grey items are items that need some Further Review. The AI has not decided whether the item matches or breaks your Playbook. You can use the provided reference to jump to that part of the contract and check it out.
51
Filters
Do you need to focus on some specific things? We have filters to help you with that.
52
Filters - Continued
You can filter by the type of Issue: Alerts, Pre-checks, or Further Review.
or Filter by Risk level: High, Medium, or low
53
If I just want to see the Orange Alerts, I can do that.
54
Filters - Continued
I can filter by that if I want to just my high-risk items.
55
Filters - Continued
If I only want to see certain Issues with a specific Risk rating, I can also do that.
56
If I only want to see my High-Risk Alerts, I can do that.
57
Wrapping Up
Just a few things to discuss before finishing a review.
58
Highlights
The highlighting in the text will persist, even for people that do not have ReviewAI. So you will want to turn that off before sending it to an outside party.
59
Highlights - Continued
You can turn off highlights individually. So if the purple is distracting you during your review, you can toggle it off.
60
Highlights - Continued
You will want to turn off all of the highlights before sending it to the third party
61
You can change the name of the Checklist
62
If you need to make it more specific you can do that.
