Restore Moodle Course from Backup into the New Courses Platform

This tutorial will show you how to restore the course you exported Campus into your course shell in Courses. Please make sure to reach out to us at courses@extension.org so we can provide you with an empty course shell.

Login to Courses

  1. 1. Click on Proceed to your courses

  8. 8. Select the file and allow it to upload

    If your file is less than 1 GB, it should take about 1-5 minutes to restore. If the file is 1-3 GB, it could take 10-15 minutes to restore depending on your internet connection. Please be patient. If it times out for any reason, let us know and we'll help you.

  12. 12. Once you arrive to this page, DO NOT click "Restore as a New Course", instead - scroll down to "Restore Into This Course"

  17. 17. Click "Perform Restore." Give it a few minutes and your course will be ready.
