Sign into your Genesis Parent Account. (Student accounts cannot make requests).

Click on Request a Course for the Encores subject area

Click on Add next to the first course you would like to request

Select a priority 1-8 from the dropdown. You can only select each priority one time.

Click on Request a Course for the Encores subject area again to select your next course

Repeat the above process six more times until you have selected and ranked 8 Encore classes.

To request Band, Orchestra or Chorus, click on Request a Course for the Performing Arts subject area.

Click on Add for the performing arts class you want to request.

If you wish to request an instrumental class and Chorus, repeat steps 11-15 to select the second class and rank it priority 2.

If your child is going into 6th grade, you must also repeat the above process to select and rank two World Languages.

When you have completed requesting courses for all of the subject areas, click the submit button to submit your requests.

Once you submit, you will no longer be able to return and edit your requests so make sure you are complete. Failure to request and rank 8 encores (and 2 world languages if your child will be entering 6th grade) may result in them being assigned to courses you did not select.
