Reporting: Create and Update Profiles

When working constantly with Reporting, we might find time consuming to configure our reports settings all over again every time we want to generate reports which contain specific information.

In the following manual we will explain how to create profiles for your reports: by doing this, you only need to establish the configuration once, save it and then select your report profile next time you report the same kind of information - creating your own library and personalized reports.

Click on Reporting

Select the report you want to generate

In this specific example, I have selected a specific product group and some other fields in GTIN and Display

Create Reporting profile

Before generating the report, click on New profile

Provide a name which will help you to identify the import configuration behind the profile

Click on Save

After saving, you will get Report profile saved successfully message and you will see the name of profile on the top of the report settings menu

After creating this profile, you could also create another one based on this, just extending (or removing the information)

Click on New profile again (not Update!)

Provide a new name and click on Save

Use existing Reporting Profile

Next time you attempt to generate a report of the same type, you will be able to see the just created profile(s)

Update existing Reporting Profile

You can also do some changes on the existing profile and Update it

In this case for example, I only kept specific Attributes.

You will not be able to update profiles which have not been created by you.
