Navigate to the Faculty Portal at https://my.cgcc.edu

Sign In

New instructors will receive a username and password from CGCC.

CGCC Faculty: If you run into any issues logging in, contact support@cgcc.edu.

College Now Teachers: Please contact abeardmore@cgcc.edu if you do not have your login information or if you are unable to log in.

Once logged in - Click My Classes

This button will appear on the left-side bar at or near the bottom of the list.

Click on Gradebook

The Gradebook will drop down after clicking on the My Classes button.

Select your Term

If you have taught during a previous term, choose the current term from the “View Course List for Term” option. If not, you will not see a dropdown and can skip to the next step.

Select your class by clicking on the Course Title.

Click on Final Grades

Instructors do not need to fill out the other tabs (Assignments & Exams, Midterm Grades, etc.) Only the Final Letter Grade under Final Grades needs to be reported.

Select the letter grade the student earned.

CGCC does not use a + or - system.

An LDA (last date of attendance) must be submitted with F, I, and NP grades.

Confirm that the LDA is correct

Confirm that your LDAs are accurate. The system will auto-fill in the last date you took attendance (during the first week) so these dates are likely incorrect.

For students who continued attending throughout the term, use the last date of the class or the date finals occurred.

Final Step: Click on SAVE FINAL GRADES when ready to submit grades.

LDA Confirmation

After selecting SAVE FINAL GRADES, you will see a screen asking you to confirm the last date of attendance. To complete this, the number 1 works well. Simply submit a number such as 1 or 60 to complete this task.

This is simply to tell the system that your student attended for at least 1 minute during that date, so the system properly sets their attendance as that date.

Done!

After this step, you're done! You should now see an alert that says "Grades posted successfully!"
