How to Edit the keys for an Individual Room

Click on Rooms

Review the criteria under Views

If this is not done, it can effect your search for a room.

This will ensure that all rooms will populate when searching for a room.

Use the filters in the columns to search for room(s)

Review the keys to see which key you need to update.

The number of keys varies per room.

Many residents will not be issued mail keys due to the electronic packaging systems. Building keys are not to be issued.

All rooms will have a room key, but depending on the room type, it may also have an Unit Entrance key or a Closet Key.

All other keys will be covered in another training.

Make sure the Key Type and Description are the same.

Change the Serial Number as needed

The first few numbers are known as the key number. The digit(s) after the hyphen are known as the key cut.
