Create a New Instruction Set
5 Steps

Navigate to the Program State Account and click on the 'Instruction MGMT' tab.

If an Instruction Set does not already exist, click on the pencil icon to create one or search for one.

If the search does not return a result, select the option to create a record.

Update the 'Instruction Set Name' with whatever you wish to call the record. Salesforce will create a default record name for search purposes.

Update the 'Source' to 'Program Designation.'

Use the 'Program Designation' field to look up the Program State.

Click on Save

Click on Save

Click on 'New'.

Choose whether you wish to create a Training or Endorsement record type and then click on 'Next'.

Type in the new 'Instruction Requirement Name'.

Check 'Active' if you wish for the training to be assigned and visible for Apprentices and their Supervisors.

If Staff need to review 'Completed' records, check the 'Verification Needed' box.

Search for the master endorsement record using the 'Endorsement' field.

Update the 'Instruction Type' if needed.

Update the 'Estimated Time to Complete (hours)' field to tell Salesforce how many hours it needs to add to the Apprentice's total hours once the record is complete.

For the record to show in the Apprenticeship Hub, make sure that 'RTI' is selected as the 'Count Hours As..." option.

The Instruction Requirement will now be visible in the 'Instruction Requirements for Parent Instruction Set' section.
