Making your First Blog Post

In PGS

1. Click on Sites
2. Click on Blogs…
3. Click on the blog you wish to add to
4. Click on Create Blog Post
5. Add your post's title
6. Click on Change to add a cover image
Recommended size is 600px x 400px
7. Double-click on an image
8. Add a keyword rich Alt Text for the cover image
9. Add a keyword rich description
10. Click on Create post
11. Change the Title at the top
12. Click on the main page
13. Click on Heading and add a heading to the page
14. Click on Paragraph
15. Add your text
16. Click on the 3 dots for more options
17. Here you can images, quotes, videos, and more
18. To add an image, select the icon
19. Click on Image URL…
20. Click on upload from media library and double-click the image you want to use
21. Add an Alt Text that will help Google find your blog post
Not that images can be a Maximum of 736 wide, or the image will squash
22. Click on Insert Image
23. To edit the image later, click on the image
24. Find the Edit image icon
25. Here you can adjust the properties
26. Click on Update Image
27. Click on Save
28. Click on Continue
29. Add the URL slug. You can see a preview below
30. Select or add a Category
31. Click on the category
32. Add some keywords
33. Select, or add an author. Note that this cannot be changed later
34. Select a blog status
35. Click on Select Date
36. Click on a date
37. Click on Save

It may be easier to duplicate a blog post if you like how it looks.

38. Find the blog post you wish to copy and drag this bar to the left
39. Click on the 3 dots
40. Click on Duplicate Post
41. Click on the 3 dots of your copied post
42. Click on Change Blog Post SEO Details
43. Edit this information before writing your new blog.
