Learning about bond projects using the interactive map

The City of Dallas presents information on bond projects on an interactive map, with color-coded points and lines showing the location of projects. This is an effective way to identify all projects within a certain city council district, ZIP code or other area.

The map can be found on the city's GIS Services website. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the correct map.

Click on Capital Improvements (bond)

Click on Layer Other Bond Program - Points

Limit the projects just to those that received funding through the 2017 bond by deselecting the other bond program options in the Layers column on the left side of the screen.

Click on Layer Council District Border

Council district boundaries and labels may also be removed.

Click on a Point or Line in the Map

Projects are displayed as lines and points. Select one, and then click on the arrow to see the project ID, name, description, status and other details.
