ICMB XI Registration: For Payers

If you need to pay online on behalf of someone else, follow these instructions.

Definitions:

Registrant: the person who will attend the conference.

Payer: the person who will complete payment online on behalf of the registrant.

PAYER STARTS FIRST! Begin registration by clicking the "Begin Registration On Behalf of Registrant" button

Create an Oxford Abstracts account, or sign in with an existing account

If you are new to Oxford Abstracts, you should click "Create an account" and follow the instructions, including verifying your email address.

Enter Registrant's email address into registration form

After signing in or (if a new account) verifying your email address, you will be taken to the registration form. Here you must enter the Registrant's email address. If the Registrant has already submitted an abstract, please be sure to use the email address the Registrant used when submitting their abstract.

Skip over all other questions

After entering the Registrant's email address, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Next.

Click OK on the "Incomplete Fields" alert

You will be alerted that each page of the registration form includes required fields that are incomplete. This is OK — the Registrant will complete these fields later.

Repeat for each page

Click NEXT at the bottom of each page, and OK on each "Incomplete Fields" alert.

Click PAYMENT (or SUBMIT) on final page

On the final page, there will be a description of the available payment methods. Click PAYMENT (or SUBMIT, for free tickets) to establish an empty registration so that the Registrant can complete all the questions you just skipped over.

Click OK on one last "Incomplete Fields" alert.

You have now reached the Payment screen, but payment options will not appear until the Registrant has completed all the registration questions.

Tell the Registrant they can begin their part of the instructions, and wait!

You are done for now and can return to your Oxford Abstracts dashboard ("O" logo in upper left corner of screen) and/or log out.

If you have other registrants you need to complete payment for, you can also go back and repeat from step 1 (clicking on the special link). You will not have to set up your account again.

Otherwise, stop here until the Registrant tells you that they have finished filling out the registration form.

PAYER's TURN AGAIN! Find Registrant's entry on your Oxford Abstracts dashboard.

If you logged out in the last step, you can log in to your Oxford Abstracts dashboard at: https://auth.oxfordabstracts.com/

Be sure to use the same email address that you used when you registered your account.

On your dashboard, you'll see an entry for the Registrant's ticket under "Registrations for other delegates". The entry will show that payment is due.

This time, payment options appear!

Note the box identifying which Registrant this registration is for.

Choose a payment option and complete payment

  • For online payments (credit card or PayPal), choose PayPal.

  • For offline payments (e.g., bank transfer), choose Invoice and follow the instructions on the invoice.

After you have generated an invoice or completed payment online, you will be able to download a receipt from your dashboard. The Registrant will also be able to download a receipt from their own dashboard.
