How to use Corrective Actions

Demonstration of the Corrective Action features in a Performance Management Employee Relations Case in HR Service Hub.

About the review/edit process: this is reflected in the status drop-down.

After ELR reviews if they want edits or more information, the status will change to "Pending Edits/Info (HR/Supervisor)". If it is approved to be issued, it will say "Pending Issuance". After the letter has been issued, come back and change the Status to "Issued" and complete the required fields. When you save it, make sure you go to the HR Tasks Tab and attach the letter to the Records Task.

If you are on a Notice of Intent, skip this step and continue. If you are on a LOC, LOW or NOS, finish this step and you are done with this corrective action.

Click on Save, to change the Status options. If you are done and no further activity is needed (LOC, LOW or NOS) then you can change the status to closed. This will gray out the fields and fire a records task. Make sure you attach a PDF of the final issued letter to the Records Task.

If you are on a Notice of Intent, skip this step and continue.

Set the status to Pending ELR Review when you are ready for ELR to give their approval or ask for edits.

Click on Update to save and return to the case view. If you click save, it will save and keep you on the corrective action view.

If you just issued a notice of intent (NOIS, NOIT) please complete the following.

If you just issued a notice of intent (NOIS, NOIT) you will input the employee response deadline. ELR will fill in the Skelly related fields and let you know when it is time to issue the final notice.

After Final Notice is issued, attach PDF of the final notice and change the status to Final Notice Issued.
