How to turn on Tango's real-time capture panel

The capture panel lets you see and delete screenshots in real-time during the capture process.

If you don't see the option to opt in, you may need to update your extension to version 5.0 or higher

Click the Tango extension

For now, this feature is only available on the browser extension. Make sure you are on version 5.0 or higher to see the option. You may need to restart Chrome to update your extension.

As soon as you click CAPTURE WORKFLOW, you'll see our real-time capture panel appear to the left of your browser.

As you go about your process, the steps will show up in the panel.

The real-time capture panel has also allowed us to remove the green check mark from screenshots! To complete, discard, pause, or Live Blur your Tango, go to the bottom of the capture panel to access your controls.

If you want to go back to the old capture experience, you can do so directly from the real-time capture panel, or from the extension modal in your browser.

You can switch between both capture experiences while in the process of creating a Workflow. We will save your progress and continue saving you time!

Please note, the option to turn off real-time capture will eventually be discontinued, so we suggest you try it out now. We welcome your feedback and are excited for you to try it out!
