How to create your custom Chatbot on ChatBase

Chatbase | ChatGPT for your website

1. 1. Click on Build Your Chatbot

   

2. 2. Choose and Click Website

   

3. 3. Paste your website domain under the Crawl entry

   

4. 4. Click on Fetch links after pasting the domain

   

5. 5. Paste all your domain or subdomain

   Chatbase will automatically crawl each pages on the website and use it as training dataset

   

6. 6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and Click on Create Chatbot

   

7. 7. Click on Settings

   

8. 8. Name your chatbot

   

9. 9. You can change, add, update the base prompt of the bot or leave it as it is

   

10. 10. You can also have your custom Initial Message

    

11. 11. You can also adjust the theme

    

12. 12. You can also add your preferred chatbot Logo/Icon

    

13. 13. Set your bot display name

    

14. 14. You can customized the floating chat bubble/icon

    

15. 15. Click on Save Changes and your bot is ready

    

If you want to embed the chatbot on your website

1. 16. Click on Embed on website

   

2. 17. Click on Private but can be embedded on website from Visibilty

   

3. 18. Click on Save changes

   

4. 19. Paste your website domain

   

5. 20. Click on Set domains to save the domain

   

6. 21. Select either of the HTML code

   First HTML
   - Add your chatbot any where on your website
   
   Second HTML
   - Add a chat bubble to the bottom right of your website

   

Test your chatbot

1. 22. Click on Chatbot

   

2. 23. Start your chatbot conversation by clicking the chat below
