How to create a Wise Business Account

Go to Wise, Formerly TransferWise: Online Money Transfers | International Banking Features

Alternatively, you can create your account by linking a Google, Facebook or Apple Account

Select United States in Country of Registration and Click Continue

1) Select the Country Code according to your phone service: (i.e +54 is for an Argentinian Phone Number)

2) Input the phone number

3) Click on Send Verification Code

1) You should receive a Text message to the phone you inputted in the previous step

2) Copy and Paste the number

3) Click Submit

1) Country: United States

2) Registered Business Name: The name registered with the state of incorporation

3) Company Type: LLC, Corporation, etc...

4) EIN Number

If you don't have a physical presence in the US you can use the address of the registered agent. That address is available in your documents (Articles of Organization or Certificate of Formation)

Only for customers with a different address for mailing purposes, contact, a physical office, or conducting business from that address. If none of these apply to you select "Same as Registered Address" to skip this part

If you do have another address you'd like to use then select "Somewhere else" and complete the address details just like the registered address in the previous step

Feel free to add as many Trading addresses as needed by selecting "Add another trading address". Once that is done click on Confirm to proceed

Complete this information to have your account verified and fully functional:

1)Category: Select the most comparable to your business main activity

2)Subcategory: Select the most comparable to your business activity

3)Do you have a Website or social media profile? Choose yes and place the link to your Website, Amazon profile, Ebay profile, or Social Media account

4)Size of your business: Number of employees

The address has to be where you live (Non US addresses are accepted)

Once completed click on Confirm

If you want to pay for Wise.com complete package feel free to pay for it now. Otherwise you can upgrade later and start on the essential feature plan.

After this you are done! You have officially created your Wise.com account

To be able to fully operate your account you'll need to verify it. Look for the Verify Now button in your wise.com account and click it.

Select the option that is most comparable to your use case. Most customers use Wise to send money back to their home country. If that's your case select "Making intra-company transfers".

Otherwise select one of the other options that is closer to your use case

You'll need to specify all declared members of your Company to register in Wise records.

If the company has more than one click on "Add another director" to fulfill their details

If you are a Non US Citizen select the option that states that you don't have a Social Security Number or ITIN.

If you are a US citizen select that option to input your credentials of ITIN or SSN.

For non-US users you will be required to upload a photo of a valid form of ID:

Option 1)

Photo of passport (Only one photo is enough)

Option 2)

Photo of ID/Drivers Licence: You'll need to upload 2 photos (Front and back) and upload them individually in each box
