How to Submit Your Monthly Leave Report

This guide outlines the step-by-step process for accurately entering and submitting your monthly leave report. Following these instructions will help ensure compliance with reporting deadlines and prevent errors in your leave records. Leave reports are generally due by the 5th of the following month, with supervisor approval required by the 7th.

If you're unable to access the Banner portal, please use Employee Self-Service by logging into the old WebSMART portal and clicking on "Employee Services."

-Verify your Job Title for the leave entry.

-If you have a "Detail" position, both job roles will be displayed. Select the position you were active in during the month. If you worked in both roles during the month, you may need to submit two separate leave reports.

Select the day of the month

To enter your hours, select the corresponding day of the month and choose the type of leave you used.

Select the Leave Type from the Earn Codes

All the different types of leave will show up in a dropdown menu. Please select what type of leave you took on that specific day. If you didnt take leave, you can select vacation like in this example
