How to Search for Journals by Subject Area

Search by general subject areas, journals, newspapers, magazines, and other periodical publications. Both print and electronic results will be included.

Go to WorldCat Discovery.

Click on Advanced search.

Alternatively, you can click "Advanced search" from the menu bar.

Click on Advanced search.

Scroll down and change the format to "Journal/Magazine".

Scroll down and change the format to "Journal/Magazine".

Enter your subject term.

We used "military history" for our example, but you can search for any topic you'd like.

Press "Enter" or click the "Search" button.

Once you find a journal you'd like to browse or search, select "Access journal".

You may be prompted to enter your SAGU credentials, just as you do into Blackboard.
