How to Create a MyHillel Event at Minnesota Hillel

We are so excited that you are interested in hosting a MN Hillel event through MyHillel. Take a look at the steps below to learn how to use the platform. Once you submit for approval, a staff member will reach out to you to approve the event, go over your event with you and help you bring it to life!

Choose if your event will be Open to All, Host Approval or Private

Choosing Open to All allows anyone to be able to sign up.

Host Approval allows anyone to sign up but still requires approval for attending.

A private event will only be accessible to those you invite.

Select your Experience Type

Here you will choose what type of Jewish event you will be hosting. It is important to remember that a myHillel event is part of one's Jewish college experience.

Select the Maximum number of spots for your event

You can host an event for groups of all sizes. If the event is open to an infinite amount of people, set the number really high so that it doesn't lock people out from signing up.

We have noticed that if the cover photo includes the name of the event, it is easier to find on the platform.

Once you submit for approval, a MN Hillelstaff member will reach out to you to approve the event, go over your event with you and help you bring it to life!
