Creating a Parent Account & Registering a Child

You can either sign in to an existing account or create an account

You will then be logged into the Parent Portal. This portal has 3 main sections. Account shows your basic parent account details.

The Registration tab allows you to create/view registrations.

The Reservations tab will show you all reservations you have created for registrations owned by your account.

Creating a New Registration

Go to the Registrations tab, and at the bottom click "New Registration"

Select from an available Child Care Center

Child Care Centers that are not currently accepting registrations will not be shown.

Complete all the form fields shown as described. You will also have to use a mouse or touch enabled device to complete a digital signature at the bottom of this form

Creating & Managing Reservations

To Create a Reservation, login to the parent portal and go to the Registration Tab

Find the Child you want to create a Reservation for and click "Reserve"

This option is only available once a registration has been moved into "Active" status by HCPS Child Care Staff

Select the Reservation Type

Standard Reservation are for the entire week of child care. Emergency reservations are higher daily rates that allow individual day use.

Alternate Reservation Creation Method

You may also use the "New Reservation" button found on the Reservations screen. This will show all active registrations that are available for creating a new reservation.

You will be prompted to select the time frame of the care week wishing to reserve

This system allows reservation up to 9 weeks in the future from current date.

For each care week or emergency day selected, you must also select a child care option (PSAM,PSPM, or PLUS)

This system will show your anticipated TOTAL fee for the selections made

You must indicate payment method

Options are: K12PaymentCenter.com Payment, In Person, or DSS Voucher

Once submitted all reservations can be viewed in the Reservations tab.

View/Manage a Reservation

This link allows you to view an individual reservation record. The View/Manage Reservations window will have a cancel button for reservations still eligible to cancel. Reservations can be cancelled up to 6PM Friday the week before care. If the reservation is not eligible for cancelation, this button will not show.
