Created Feb 01, 2024Finding and Using ETDs from TREN
Using TREN can be difficult. This guide will show you two ways you can find relevant TREN ETDs and how to view the thesis or dissertation after locating it.
#
Method One (Recommended): WorldCat Discovery
TREN’s resources can all be searched using WorldCat Discovery, our most versatile research tool. Not only does WorldCat Discovery operate in a more expected way, there are frequently summaries/abstracts available on WorldCat Discovery that are not present on TREN.com.
If you are off campus, you will be prompted to enter your SAGU credentials
Jump ahead to "Viewing the TREN document"

Method Two: Directly on TREN
All of TREN’s documents may be accessed directly from their e-Doc site; however, this method is less recommended due to the limited search functionality of the website.
TREN.com does not support advanced Boolean searching.
NOTE: Clicking the title of a document does NOT open more information; instead, it does a new search based on which word you clicked on.
