Check the entries to see which database offers the year in which your article was written.

Click on the title of the journal for the database with the right coverage.

The next steps are different depending on which brand of database your article is in.
You probably will not know which database brand your article is in. Once you've got the database open from the previous steps, you should be able to see whether the article is from EBSCO, Gale, ProQuest, or somewhere else. Check out our other tutorials in this series for the specifics of finding your article in that specific brand of database. Their names will start with "Finding an Article from a Citation."
