Find mentions of your institution or organisation in the full-text of policy documents (trials)

Search from the Start page

1. 1. Click on 'Policy Documents'

   

2. 1. 2. A. Type the name of your institution or organisation in quotation marks into the search box.

   2. 2. B. Click the purple icon with magnifying glass to launch your 'Search'

   

3. 3. You will be taken to the 'Policy Documents' page, where you can review results where you name was found in the full-text of policy documents.

   The snippet will show you where the name was found in-text by the highlight. We provide the page number so you can investigate further for relevancy.

   

4. 4. Use filters to narrow down results.

   

5. 5. Use the action bar to save a search, generate a summary report, export* or explore further.

   *exports are not available for individual 14 day trials

   

Search using Overton's Advanced Query Builder

1. 6. In the 'Advanced Query Builder' ensure that 'Policy Documents' is selected

   

2. 7. Ensure 'Full text' is selected in the 'Search within' menu

   

3. 8. In the 'Search term' box, type your institution's or organisation's name

   

4. 9. From the dropdown besides the search box, select 'Exact phrase'

   

5. 10. See your query in the 'Visualise your query' box

   

6. 11. Click on 'Search'

   

7. 12. You will be taken to the 'Policy Documents' page, where you can review results where you name was found in the full-text of policy documents.
