In the first line of the "Search" field in any Gale database, type the title of the article from your citation.

In the "Field" section to the right of the line you entered the title into, click the dropdown menu and select "Document Title."

In the second "Search" line, type the title of the journal from your citation.

Change the "Field" selection to the right of this second line to "Publication Title."

Click "Search" on-screen or "Enter" on your keyboard.
You can add as many other lines as you need for date, volume, issue, and author information by continuing to add search terms and clarify which field you'd like to apply.

Once the results pop up, click on the article you were searching for.
Quick tip! If you get more than one result from your search, you can go back and search with more terms/phrases, or you can review the information given to choose the article that most closely matches your citation.
