You can access EXPA by going to expa.aiesec.org and signing in using your same login for your aiesec.org account. Your VP or LCP should have given you access to EXPA.

30 Steps

If you have trouble logging in to EXPA or your VP/LCP didn't give you access, ask your VP to contact the MCVP OGX for access.

1

This is the EXPA Dashboard!

It's the first thing you'll see when you sign in. On the right side, you'll see your profile in the top corner. Below that, you can see any news or updates to EXPA. On the left, you'll see the Quick Links box.

2

The Quick Links Box

This contains most of the navigation you'll need for EXPA. First is People; this is the section you'll use the most. Then is Applications, where you can see all of the applications that EPs have sent. Opportunities is used by Incoming functions to manage how their opportunity appears on EXPA and the aiesec.org portal. Farther below is Committees, where you can manage your LC's permissions. There are also links for EXPA Support at the bottom.

3

You Can Also Navigate with the Sidebar

The sidebar has all of the Quick Links sections available for easier access. You can also return to the dashboard at any time by clicking the AIESEC Logo in the top of the sidebar.

4

Let's check out the People section

This is where you'll be the most. When navigating with the Sidebar, you'll be given 2 options: "People" and "People I Manage."
"People" Displays all of the EPs assigned to your LC, while "People I Manage" only shows EPs that have been assigned to you specifically.

Let's check out the People section
5

Click on People.

This will pull up all of the EPs associated with your LC.

Click on People.
6

Your People page should look similar to this.

It lists all of the EPs assigned to your LC. You can see the number of their EXPA ID, their Name, who is managing them, their Email, when they signed up, Phone Number, their Referral, and much more.

Your People page should look similar to this.
7

Change the Column view

By default, you may not have the same information present in your People page as you see in these examples. To change that, go to this icon towards the top right of the People page, just below the Search and Filters bar. Here you can choose which columns are displayed.

8

The Columns Bar

Once you click on the Columns icon, this dropdown will appear. Here, you can enable and disable various information displayed on the page.

Let's get into Contacting EPs.

Find the Name column of your EPs. This is where you can open their profile to take further action.

Here you can find their Applications, their number of Accepted Applications, number of Rejected Applications, Managers, Interview status, Follow up status, Active applications, notes, and tags.

Every EP needs to have a manager assigned to them.

You can assign a manager by clicking the Plus symbol in the managers box.

Every EP needs to have a manager assigned to them.
13

Assign a manager by typing in their name in the popup box.

Remember: If someone on your team is supposed to be contacting EPs, they won't be able to see the EPs if they're not assigned as manager. Making sure EPs are assigned the proper manager is the first step in contacting the EP.

Assign a manager by typing in their name in the popup box.
14

Here we can see the EP's email address.

For privacy purposes, the EP's email is encrypted with a string of numbers and letters. But don't worry -- when you email them, it will go directly to whatever email the EP has on file.

Here we can see the EP's email address.
15

Click on this icon to Copy Email To Clipboard

Now that you have their email copied, you can paste it into your preferred email service and send them an email! Remember, it will still show up as the encrypted string, but the email will go through as normal.

16

Just below the Email you can see other information.

Such as their LC assignment and their Last active date.

You can do that by going to the Follow Up dropdown menu on the EP's page.

18

In the Dropdown menu, click Contacted

There are a number of other options here as well. As you progress in contact with the EP, updating their follow-up status is a good way to keep track of your efforts. At minimum, they should be marked as "Contacted".

You can go to Details under their name.
