Downloading Documents from Moxo

This Tango is here to help you download multiple documents from Moxo all at once. This Tango is created using the web login on a large/desktop type computer. If you're using the web app, the exact buttons will look a little different - instead of grey tabs at the top you'll see pink-purple options at the bottom.

This Tango is working with Jerry Graham (an Individual) and Jerry's Busses (an S-Corporation). Jerry is a fictional character I use to test certain things as well as create guides and processes. You can read more about Jerry and his world here.

15 Steps

Login to Moxo using your user name and password.

1

Select the Flow you'd like to work with. Jerry would like to save files from his 2022 S Corporation Tax Return Delivery.

Jerry's Moxo has several things I use for testing inside of it. When you log in, you'll be presented with the three most recently used Flows as a starting point. If you don't see the Workflow you're looking for, select, "View All."

2

Head to the Files

Once inside the flow, click on the Files Tab. Again, if you're using the mobile app, this option will be in pink at the bottom.

3

Save any loose files

These are files not in a folder. You'll see a preview of each file. Select the file(s) to save by clicking the radio button at the top right.

4

Click on Select All if you'd like to save all the loose files at once

Once you've selected one file, you'll be given an option to select all files. Use this option to grab all files at once. You can deselect specific files if you'd like to download most (but not all) of the loose files.

Click on Select All if you'd like to save all the loose files at once
5

Click on Download

This will download all selected files into a single zip file wherever your computer saves files to. I don't have control over these files being downloaded in to a zip file or where your zip file is saved.

Click on Download
6

Click on Deselect All

This is just good habit to unselect files after downloading them. It's probably completely unnecessary.

Click on Deselect All
7

Select on Attachments…

This folder is where files attached to a task (either that I've attached or if you used the upload files button on a file request). Select the folder to start saving these files.

Select on Attachments…
8

Check Select a file checkbox

Either one at a time or by selecting one and then selecting the , "Select All," option, just like before.

9

Select on Download

And download all of the files you've selected. In this example, not every file has been selected for download.

10

Select All Files at the top to go back to the root folder.

It's small, but it's there. I promise.

Select Signature Files

These go to a different folder specific for eSignature documents. This folder will have any files that used the sign process. For Calendar Year 2024 (2023 tax returns), that will include but may not be limited to your Engagement Letter and any Direct Deposit information. For entities, it will also include your eFile Authorization.

Select the eSignature Document to save

These, unfortunately, do have to be saved one at a time. As an alternative, you can click the three dots to the right of the file name to download it without previewing the document.

While previewing the document, select the three dots at the top of the document to download.

You can also download the document with a signature certificate. I encourage downloading this.
