Navigate to the Apprenticeship Occupation record and click on the 'More' dropdown if you do not see the 'Instruction Management' tab.

Creating a New Record

Click on the 'Instruction Management' tab.

Select Create/Manage related instruction items to associate a new Instruction Requirement with the Related Instruction Set.

Click on 'Next' to proceed.

If a record does not already exist, check 'Help! I can't find the requirement I'm looking for!' to proceed with creating a new master record.
If the record does exist, simply use the search box to locate it.

Click on 'Next' to proceed.

If you are making a brand new record, you will check 'Start from scratch!'

Type in a name for the 'Master Requirement Name' field.

Fill in the 'Instruction Details' field.

Select the 'Target Audience' from the dropdown menu.
Note that this selection impacts visibility in the Apprenticeship Hub.

In most cases, if the training is intended for Apprentices, hours will count as 'RTI'.

Check the 'Verification Needed' box if a staff member will need to review any updates to the record or document submissions.

Click on 'Next' to proceed.

The 'Estimated time to complete' field is used to calculate total related instruction hours for the Apprentice as the status is updated to complete.

Select whether the instruction is required or optional.

Update the due date if the instruction has to be completed by a certain day.

Denote whether you wish to upload any files for staff to be able to reference.

If there are online resources that you wish to be connected to the record, update the 'link to online resources' field.

Update whether the 'Delivery Type' is remote, hybrid, or in person.

If it is remote, you can add the 'Participant Link' to the record for where the instruction can be accessed.

If the participants need to input a Participant access code, toggle the field and then populate the access code

Updating Existing Apprenticeships

If the training is delivered in person or has a hybrid component, you can update the relevant information.

Once the record is complete, you can elect to continue creating related instruction records or to complete the process via the final toggle.

Click on Continue/Add RTI

Click on Finish

The record that was just created will now be visible on the Instruction Management tab.

If there are existing Apprenticeships that need to be updated, select 'Sync all related instruction with existing apprentices'.

Click on Next

If the system finds existing records, you will then be able to select which apprentice training plans need to be updated.

Click on Next
