Create an Absence in Skyward for Your Student

You no longer need to call the campus to verify that your student is absent. You can input these in Skyward. Follow the directions below.

  1. 1. Create an Absence in Skyward for Your Student

    Go to https://www.midlandisd.net/skyward to access Skyward Family Access

  2. 2. Click on Login Now

  3. 5. Click on Attendance

    Click on Attendance

  4. 6. Click on Absence Requests

    Click on Absence Requests

  5. 7. Click on Add Request

  6. 8. Click on Prnt. Notification of Stu Abs from Reason:

  7. 9. Type "reason for absence"

  8. 10. Click on Save
