How to import contacts into the Contacts feature

1

Create a CSV file with the contacts you want to import

The CSV file must have a ContactTypeId field with these values:

  • 0 = Customer

  • 1 = Potential Customer

  • 2 = Supplier

The rest of the field headings and values can be anything, it will be mapped later in this process.

Click on Contacts…

Click on Contacts…

Click on Import

Click on Import

Select the CSV file you want to import from your local storage device (created in Step 1)

Map the ContactTypeId field from your CSV file to the ContactTypeId field in Laminin

Map the Name field from your CSV file to the FullName field in Laminin

Map the Contact Number field from your CSV file to the PrimaryPhone field in Laminin

Map the Email field from your CSV file to the PrimaryEmail field in Laminin

Map the Company field from your CSV file to the Supplier field in Laminin

You can map any other fields in your CSV file to the appropriate Laminin fields

Click on Preview Contacts

This will give you a preview of the contacts you are about to import

Click on Preview Contacts

Click on Import Contacts

Click on Import Contacts

You will receive a notification of imported contacts and duplicate contacts

Note that if a telephone number already exists in your Contacts the system will not import that contact
