Adding and Removing Links to this Site

In the website editor

1. 1. Highlight the text you want to become a link

   

2. 2. Click on the chain link icon

   

3. 3. Type the page url in full, including the http://

   A link to an unpublished website will not work.

   

4. 4. Choose where you want the link to open in

   “Current window” means the page a visitor on changes to the new page. “New window” means a new tab opens up on the new page

   

5. 5. Click on Save

   

6. 6. To edit the linked text, click on it

   

7. 7. Click on General

   

8. 8. Click on Link Text Colour

   

9. 9. Change the colour

   

10. 10. To Remove a link

    

11. 11. Highlight the text

    

12. 12. Click on Link

    

13. 13. Delete the URL

    

14. 14. Click on Save

    

15. 15. To edit a button - Click on the button

    

16. 16. Click on Background Colour

    

17. 17. Click on your new colour

    

18. 18. Change the text in "Text Options"

    

19. 19. Select “Go to Page”, and choose a page to link to

    

20. 20. Save, or Publish to go live
