Click on users on the left-hand menu.

Create a username.

We suggest creating usernames using a combination of first and last names with a company identifier.


EX: John Does with Grandmas Loving Care, username may be jdoeGLC

If you receive a message stating username/email address already exists, you will need either adjust the username you are using or create a unique username.

Our system requires unique usernames. If you are using personal email addresses, and that learner was added to our system before with another company, you will not be able to use that same email address. Because of this, we DO NOT recommend using email addresses as usernames.

Create a password.

We recommend reusing the username for the password. Learners should change their password once they log in.

Without an email address, learners will not receive training email notifications.

Enter a hire date. This is important for assigning annual training.

Check branch and time zone fields for accuracy. Add information in the rest of the fields, if you have it. This will be useful for creating custom reports.

Click on Add to finish creating the user.

If you'd like to have users receive a notification with their login credentials upon account creation, follow these steps:

  1. Reach out to support to have us turn on the User Created Notification.  You may reach support at customersupport@homecarepulse.com or by phone at 877-307-8573, option 1.

  2. Add user and make sure that you include the user's email.

  3. The user will receive an email letting them know they have an account.
