Select one of the options from the Referral drop-down list. The Referral relates to how you heard about Agriclime, there are three options: (1) Your Syngenta Sales Representative (2) Syngenta Partnership Plan (3) Seed Trade
Your Syngenta Sales Representative is your Syngenta contact/sales manager.
If you heard about Agriclime via a Syngenta e-mail then please select Partnership Plan as the referral option.
If you've heard of Agriclime via your Distributor/Seed Trade, you will need to select the name of your Seed Trade Company from the 'drop down list'.
Enter your Farm #1 details: Provide the farm name and select the number of Hybrid barley hectares you would like to sign up to the Agriclime offer.
There are three ways to enter the farm location: 1) to “pin” it from the map, 2) To enter the address in the address line, 3) enter the coordinates.
Note, you can add additional farms which is explained in Step 12 below.
The 'orange' highlighted area outlines each 0.24 degree spatial resolution.
Once you have chosen your 'Weather Window', the section shown below will appear. This is a summary of your sign-up details specific to your chosen Weather Window.
Here's a breakdown of the information:
Trigger: Rainfall amount that needs to be exceeded to activate a pay-out.
Exit: Rainfall amount at which the pay-out ends, set at 30%.
Payout per mm: The percentage of qualifying AGRICLIME® purchases that will be paid out per millimetre of excess rainfall.
Maximum payout: The maximum percentage of qualifying AGRICLIME® purchases that will be paid out, capped at 30%.
When you select your weather window the graph will update to show the calculated weather for the last 20 years for your location.
The left hand axis (Index Values) shows the rainfall in mm.
The right hand axis (Historical Payout) shows the estimated % historic payout.
The horizontal dotted line shows the payout trigger point for rainfall.
The green bars show the years where a payout would have occurred and the percentage of payout.
The green line shows the calculated rainfall for each year.
The graph is dynamic and will change, if you change your farm location and the weather window. You can use this graph to decide which weather window you would like to select.
Note: the weather window is independent to your actual planting date.
You can enter multiple Farms. If you want to enter another Farm then click on '+ Add another Farm'. You can choose a different weather window if you wish for your second (or more) farms.
To add two or more Hyvido products, you need to create a different farm block, this is done by clicking on '+ Add another Farm' in order for the calculations to be correct.
I.e. if you enter 100 ha’s and then select a product, it automatically shows 20 bags (which is correct). If you enter a second product, it also shows 20 bags so your total is now 40 bags for 100 ha’s (not correct). However, if you enter 1 'farm block' at 50 ha’s it will give you 10 bags for the first product and you create a second farm block for 50 ha’s for the second product.
