Here, we will learn how to create a new storefront within your Infigo platform.
A note on terminology.
Platform: Consider the platform to be the top level of your Infigo system, governing your entire Infigo environment.
Storefront: Individual sites created and sitting within your platform. For example, you may have one storefront dedicated to a larger customer. This would be branded to them and contain only their products. Alternatively, a different storefront may be home to a larger number of your smaller customers, where they access their products on a generically branded site.
Your Infigo package will likely have been supplied with a fixed number of storefronts. For example, you may be on a 15 storefront package.
Please note, we do grant you one additional storefront. This is present for training, educational and demo purposes.
In this tutorial, we will demonstrate the process of creating these new storefronts.
The resulting table will show you all of the storefronts currently present within your platform.
There will be an additional entry for the platform level itself. Generally, you will not have to access the Platform level very often, with most things being controlled on a storefront level.

A form will appear prompting you to input some fundamental storefront data prior to intialisation.
To begin, fill in the Store Details section. This comprises of:
Name: Storefront name as you wish it to appear on your system
Alias (url/alias): The URL you wish to append to your platform URL in order to access this storefront. For example, if your general platform URL is "https://training.infigosoftware.com", an alias of "demostore" would mean access to this storefront using the URL:
https://training.infigosoftware.com/demostore
Storefront type: Select whether your storefront is for B2B or B2C purposes. Some settings will be configured during the initialisation process to facilitate easier setup of each.
Description: An admin only input providing additional storefront information.

Select a Primary and Secondary colour for your storefront.
These will be used in various locations on your storefront, and are often available as a quick reference when you are generating content for your site. This ensures you are always on-brand.
Click the arrow keys when specifying a colour to change the input type.
